Welcome Home to Your Story

Welcome to the work of being known and beloved. Through story work are holding a space that was created for courage and kindness—where the truths of your story can emerge without shame or rush. This is not a place to fix or explain your life; it is a place to listen. The stories that shaped you began long before you had words for them. They live in your body, in the way you move toward or away from love, in what you hide, and in what you long for. To know your story is to begin to understand why you respond to life as you do. This work asks something of you: patience, honesty, and gentleness. It asks you to enter your past with curiosity instead of contempt. It invites you to believe that what once felt beyond redemption could become the very ground where goodness grows. You are not alone in this work. Every story of harm carries the ache of what was lost—and also the glimmer of what still remains: beauty, courage, and desire. These are the seeds of restoration. As you move through these reflections, may you come to see that your story is sacred—not because it is easy or tidy, but because it tells the truth about what it means to be human. May you be met here by kindness, by the presence of God and by the slow unfolding of being known and beloved.
