Core Story Intensive

While group story work offers communal presence and shared reflection, individual sessions allow for privacy and focused, contained attention to one core story and its impact.

The Core Story Intensive is a structured, four-session process designed to help you:

• Identify formative stories from ages 4–16
• Write and share one contained core story (300–900 words)
• Explore how that story shaped identity, attachment, and belief
• Recognize present-day patterns rooted in early experiences
• Offer embodied kindness and consolation to younger parts

Private Sessions Package

Session 1 – Story Mapping
We explore categories of formative experiences and notice what activates emotionally and physically. You’ll receive timeline and writing instructions.
Session 2 – Core Story
You read one contained story (300–900 words). We remain inside the scene and offer attuned reflection without fixing or analyzing.
Session 3 – Identity & Meaning
We explore what beliefs formed in that moment and how they shaped attachment, identity, and longing.
Session 4 – Patterns & Consolation
We identify present-day patterns rooted in the story and consider embodied ways of offering kindness and regulation now.

How the Process Works

Booking includes payment at the time you reserve your session.
You will complete a brief readiness questionnaire to ensure this process is a good fit and that you are not currently in crisis.

Is this a good fit?

This offering is best suited for individuals who are not in actve crisis and are emotionally stable, can remain present while discussing past experiences, have outside support if working through complext trauma, and are willing to complete reflective writing between sessions.

If you are currently experiencing severe dissociation, active self-harm, or acute trauma symptoms, licensed therapeutic care is recommended before beginning story work.

Healing Stories

Transformative experiences through guided storywork.

Facing my childhood trauma stories was scary until I saw how much kindness and care was already being offered through Trenda's workbook. ~Emily R.

After many years as a therapist, I experienced story work with Trenda and discovered release from patterns of shame I had never faced before. ~James T.
